Return & Warranty Policy
At ErlenTek, we stand behind our workmanship and the parts we install. The following policy outlines our 30-day service guarantee, parts warranty, and custom computer coverage.
1. 30-Day Labor & Repair Guarantee
All labor and repair services performed by ErlenTek are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service.
If you experience an issue related to the original repair within 30 days:
- In-shop services: The device must be returned to our shop. We will diagnose and correct the original issue at no additional labor charge.
- Onsite services: We will return to your location and correct the original issue at no additional labor charge.
This guarantee applies only to the specific repair or service originally performed. New, unrelated issues are not covered under this guarantee.
2. 60-Day Parts Warranty
All parts replaced by ErlenTek are covered by a 60-day warranty from the date of installation.
If a replaced part fails within 60 days due to defect:
- The defective part will be replaced at no charge.
- Labor related to replacing the defective part within the 60-day period is included.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, liquid exposure, physical damage, power surges, customer tampering, or third-party repairs.
3. Custom Computer Warranty (3 Years)
Custom-built computers by ErlenTek are covered for 3 years from the original build date.
During this 3-year period:
- Defective hardware components will be serviced and replaced.
- After the initial 60 days, labor is not included.
- Part replacement is charged at a flat rate of $50 per part (standard labor rate is $100 per hour).
This warranty applies to hardware defects only and does not cover:
- Software issues
- Malware or virus infections
- Physical damage
- Power surge damage
- Customer modifications or third-party repairs
4. Returns
ErlenTek primarily provides services and installed hardware. Parts ordered specifically for a customer or custom-built systems are generally non-refundable once installed.
If you believe a return is necessary, please contact us to discuss your situation. Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees at the discretion of ErlenTek.
5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim
